Know who you’re up against, and what they’re doing

Paige finds the businesses that beat you most often across all of your keywords, not just the ones down the street, and tracks what they do each month. You’ll see who’s gaining ground, and Paige uses what’s working in your market to shape its plan for you.

Inside Paige

You vs. the top 3 in your market, and who’s gaining momentum

Why it matters

  • The right competitorsRanked by how often they outrank you across your keywords, not by distance.
  • Spot who’s investingSee who added reviews and photos in the last 30 days, before it shows up in the rankings.
  • Know what the top 3 haveYour rating, reviews and photos next to the average of the top 3 in your market, so you know the target.

How it works

  1. 1Paige checks every keyword you track and finds the businesses that rank best across them.
  2. 2Each monthly report records their average rank, reviews and photos.
  3. 3The Competition tab compares you with the top 3 and shows who’s gaining momentum, and where you’re pulling ahead.

What’s included

  • See who your top competitors areA list of the businesses that compete with you most often, each with its average Google Maps rank across your keywords. A 1.8 means they’re near the top for almost everything you target.
  • Momentum trackingHow many new Google reviews and photos competitors added in the last 30 days. Paige highlights the fastest-growing business in your market and puts your own last 30 days next to it, with where you rank for reviews and photos among the top 10.
  • Competitor breakdownSee what it takes to rank in the top 3 in your market: your Google rating, review count and photo count next to the top 3’s averages, marked Matched once you’ve caught up. Every report also names your top competitor for your main keyword, with monthly searches and the market value of ranking #1.

Good to know

  • Momentum needs two monthly reports, because Paige compares each report with the one before it.
  • If a competitor wasn’t in the top results last month, their change may show as unknown until there’s more history.
