And while some writers want to remind us that this isn’t that bad – unemployment is actually down since the pandemic – it might not be time to celebrate yet. For better or worse, marketing lands on the chopping block all too often when things get dicey. We know, we know – it makes no sense to cut the department that’s actually getting your name out there. But it happens. What can we do except be so good and revolutionary at our jobs that we always find a way to succeed – current job or otherwise? Yeah, we couldn’t think of anything either.
