Yes for almost everyone. iPhones from 2018 onward (XS, XR and newer) read the card automatically when it's held near the top of the phone. Android phones with NFC do the same. It's the same technology people use to tap and pay, so most customers already know the motion.
No. You pay once for the cards. There's no account to create, no app for you or your customers, and no monthly fee. The card carries your review link on its own and keeps working.
Yes. Google encourages businesses to ask customers for reviews and even publishes a shareable review link for exactly this purpose. What Google prohibits is paying or rewarding people for reviews, or only asking the customers you know are happy. The card simply makes the ask easy for everyone.
No. The card shows the Google logo, five stars, a tap symbol and "Tap to review us." Nothing about Merchynt appears on the card or in what your customers see on their phone.
You pick it in step 2 above. Search by city and business name and choose your listing from the results, and we program every card to that exact link before it ships.
If nothing comes up, you may be a service-area business — one that travels to customers instead of serving them at a storefront, like a plumber, mobile detailer, or electrician. Google hides the address on those listings, so they don't always show up in a location search. In that case, just paste your Google review link instead.
