Your Weekly Update Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023

Give the people what they want Many studies have shown that the majority of shoppers would rather buy from a local vendor than a big-name brand. That means that the biggest challenge for your business might not be getting people in the door, but rather connecting with them somehow to let them know what you're doing. If you market it, they will come. Marketing to your local community can be tricky at first, but you have a natural advantage: you know who you're talking to. Trial and error is critical to understanding what kind of marketing actually works in reaching your customers (not just theoretically – social media isn't always the answer, for example). It's an ongoing feedback loop of trying and seeing what your audience responds to. *Psst – we can actually help you with all of that.
